The Model 3 has the most beautiful interior I think I’ve ever seen. Probably not the most functional, but aesthetically it makes me feel like I need to go lie down. The steering wheel is still ugly (#2spoke4lyfe), but that’s genuinely my only gripe.

It’s cool these days to hate on Tesla. You should try revising your post.

Agreed. The lack of clutter in the interior soothes me

Still not a fan of non-integrated screens and/or huge screens in cars

Yeah, removing the center screen and putting in a HUD would make it truly elegant. Now it just looks like a DIY project where someone had a spare TV.

So...somebody’s nailed a tablet on to the dash rather than design a proper dash with switches and buttons that you can actually find rather than spend five minutes scrolling through sub-sub-menus. Clever. Not.

It’ll look much less elegant when none of the interior panels line up.

It makes sense, keeps production simpler. But touch screens for vehicle controls are crap in practical use. Buttons and knobs is where it’s at. But packaging and assembly make the touch screens the simpler choice.

The only thing that bothers me with this is that, the whole design was for autonomy. They only did it this way so that there are no controls, hence the driver was the last thing on mind.
